Dragino LWL02 is a LoRaWAN Water leak sensor. When there is water between the two metal probes, the LWL02 indicates a water leak event and connection to the IoT server over the LoRaWAN network.
The LWL02 is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and is targeted for long-term use, these two batteries can provide about 16,000~70,000 uplink packages, resulting in 2~10 years of battery life. After the battery is dead, the user can easily open the case and replace it with 2 common AAA batteries.
LWL02 will send data periodically every day as well as every water leak event. It also counts water leak times and calculates the last water leak time. The user can also disable the alarm feature for each water leak event and only see how many leaks occur during the day when he checks it.
Each LWL02 is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, register these keys in LoRaWAN server and it will automatically connect after power on.
